Because we're not buying anything new to do it. We already run servers with room to spare, and small business sites are tiny — putting yours on that spare capacity costs us very little, so we don't charge you much. The honest trade-off is that on Small and Medium, space and bandwidth aren't guaranteed: they're shared. For almost every small business site that's completely fine. If yours starts needing more, we'll tell you and move you to Large, which is capacity set aside just for you — and there's room to go beyond that too.
Really. It's a monthly subscription with no minimum term, no setup fee and no cancellation fee. Cancel in one click from your billing page — the link is in your welcome email — or just tell us and we'll do it. We don't ask why, and there's no notice period.
Your site keeps running to the end of the month you've already paid for — cancelling on day two doesn't take it down on day two. After that it comes offline. Your domain is yours throughout and you can point it anywhere you like.
